Chinese Tea Culture in Shanghai: Events
Tea Set

Xiao Xia, Louise and Christian will be your guides each week as we share our love of Teapots and Tea Culture.

Xiao Xia and his father Wu Baohua, continue the Yixing tradition of teapot making with a direct lineage to the famous Yixing master craftsman 邵大亨 (Shào dàhēng).

There are over 50 custom teapots on display, representing many different materials and styles of craftsmanship. In addition, Wu Baohua holds a Guiness World Record for the the Thinnest Yixing Teapot

Come enjoy the unique experience of Chinese Tea Drinking, and enjoy the many health benefits of tea.

What's included?

Tea tasting from up to 4 varieties of high quality Tea, such as: Pu erh, Oolong, Green, and Black Teas
A short introduction to Yixing Clay Teapots and Chinese Tea Culture.
Tour some of the beautiful handmade teapots created by Guiness Book of World Record Holder Wu Baohua and his son Xiao Xia.
Wine is also available, 1 glass included in the price
Light snacks will be served.

Our tea showroom is located at No 31 Sijing Lu, Huangpu District, Shanghai. The closest Subway station is East Nanjing Road. From East Nanjing Road Station, go south on Henan Middle Road for about 10 minutes. Turn left onto Sijing Rd
The showroom is 30 meters down the road, on the right.

If you reach Guangdong Road, you have gone too far.
